Opening Hours & Collections
Drapers Guns is open to the public Tuesdays only, from 10:00am to 4:30pm.

All collections, including website orders and RFD transfers, must take place during our Tuesday opening hours. Please ensure you have received confirmation that your order is ready before travelling to collect.
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are based on the type of product ordered:
- Non-gun / unrestricted items: £5.00 delivery charge
- RFD Transfers: £19.00 delivery charge
Delivery charges apply to UK mainland addresses only. Additional charges may apply for non-mainland UK destinations. Products may occasionally be dispatched separately — if this happens, you will not incur any additional delivery charges.
RFD / Gun Transfers
Due to legal requirements, guns can only be collected from our store or dispatched to another RFD of your choice.
To ensure your gun is dispatched on the next available dispatch day, your order must be completed with your chosen Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD) by 9:00am on Monday. Orders received after this deadline will be processed for the following Tuesday dispatch.
If you choose to use a third-party RFD to ship to, they may charge a transfer fee. This is normally between £0–£35, payable directly to the receiving dealer by yourselves upon collection.
Please ensure all collection or transfer arrangements are confirmed before placing your order, or an admin fee may be charged.
Dispatch Times
Drapers Guns currently dispatches non-gun parcels twice per week. Dispatch times may vary depending on product type, stock availability and courier services. For urgent enquiries, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate these.

RFD Transfer Service to Us
We offer an RFD transfer service for customers purchasing guns from another Registered Firearms Dealer. Transfer fees:
- Air pistols: £15.00 per transfer
- Air rifles: £25.00 per transfer
All guns must be dispatched to us by the sending RFD and arrive ready for processing on our Tuesday opening day. RFD transfers can only be completed during Tuesdays, 10:00am–4:30pm. Please ensure the sending RFD includes all required transfer details and that collection arrangements are confirmed before the item is sent.
Parking Information
Limited parking is available on Wilton Road, next to the shop. Please note there are double yellow lines directly outside Drapers Guns — parking is not permitted unless displaying a valid Blue Badge and following the applicable parking rules.
Additional parking is available at Castle Retail Park, directly opposite the shop, only a few minutes’ walk away. Please check the signs on arrival for current parking restrictions and permitted stay times.
